I was kindly contacted by the lovely Roxanne Campbell to pick a couple of shades from her new Summer collection to try, test and review and share with you gorgeous readers. I picked my two favourite colours from the range which are ‘Sitting Pretty’ and ‘Off To Jamaica’. I absolutely love these colours and can’t wait to tell you a little more about them.
But first of all, a little more about Roxanne…

First of all I love the simple packaging of Roxanne’s polishes, it’s so pretty, classy and really makes the colours stand out with the bold black lid. The black lid comes straight off and the the applicator twists out which I really love with nail polishes as it just gives them that little bit more security to avoid any spillages and also makes them look a little bit more neat in my opinion.
I couldn’t resist picking out this gorgeous bright pink shade. Pink is one of my favourite colours for Spring and Summer so I thought it would be just perfect. I’ve also been just loving everything pink in general lately so I just had to! This shade was perfectly applied with just one coat which is what they’re designed for and the application, even though the applicator is a little on the smaller side to what I would prefer, was actually quite quick and easy.
‘Off To Jamaica’
Now this is the perfect shade for Summer especially if you’re going on holiday, just imagine sitting by the pool, sipping your cocktail and snapping a quick pic for Instagram holding your glass with gorgeous orange nails that just make the photo that little bit more sassy and summery. (I wish I was doing this right now!) The application on this shade was a little different though. It seemed to be a little more difficult to get an even coverage with the small applicator and it took a little longer and was a little more fiddly too. I also had to use two coats for this shade for it to be opaque which is what I prefer with a nail polish. I still love the shade though and it’s definitely something I can deal with.
How long do they last?
The first time I tried one of these polishes it only lasted about 3 days before the chips started to appear but they did only start to appear as I did a lot of washing up so my nails were basically being soaked in the warm water! The second time I used one of the polishes it lasted a day longer as I didn’t have to soak my nails. I think this is pretty good for a nail polish as with a lot of brands they can just chip straight away even 24 hours. I do always use a base coat and top coat when applying any nail varnish too.
Overall I really like these nail polishes, the shades are so pretty, perfect for summer and I love the packaging. I would love to add ‘Clean and Classy’, ‘Nude Tights’ and ‘Violets are Blue’ to my collection as they look like really nice shades too.
You can purchase these polishes from Roxanne’s website here for £10 each, they’re also available in a few different sets too!
