After lusting after Glossier for what seems like the longest time, I finally decided to give in and place my first order. With so many things I wanted to try, some extra money in my PayPal account and a 20% off code I was good to go so let’s have a look at what I picked up…
Phase 1 Set
Seen as I definitely wanted to try the Balm Dotcom and Milky Jelly Cleanser I thought why not spend an extra £10 and get the Phase 1 Set rather than buy them separately so I could try the Priming Moisturiser while I was at it too! I’ve heard such good things about all 3 of these products so I can’t wait to give them a go. Milky Jelly Cleanser is supposed to be the perfect cleanser (especially in the AM I have heard) for removing grime and freshening up the skin, Balm Dotcom just comes in such fab and fun flavours and I just had to try the Birthday Cake flavour. Besides which my lips are ALWAYS dry no matter what the season (obviously worse in winter though) so I always have to carry a lip balm on me! The priming moisturiser sounds like the perfect 2-in-1 product and I love anything to make my routine quicker so I can’t wait to give that a try too.
Long before Glossier came to the U.K. I spotted these little beauties on someone’s Instagram story and really wanted to try them, they shades looked so pretty and they just looked like the perfect subtle pop of colour for the cheeks. Strangely enough I’ve never actually tried a cream or liquid blush before so I don’t know what drew me in so much but hey, ho, I can’t wait to give them a go!
Glossier’s lidstars are some of the latest additions to their makeup range which everyone went a little crazy over at first but the hype seems to have died down a little now. As you probably already know, these beauties are a form of liquid eyeshadow which give off a subtle shimmer shade for a quick and easy everyday eye look whilst still looking glam. Above are some swatches, which aren’t the best as they look different in different lighting but I thought I would try to show you anyway, I picked up the shade Cub (right) which is a lovely rose gold and Slip (left) which is a pretty baby pink with a hint of golden shimmer. I can’t wait to see how these look and last on the lids, I’ll definitely report back!
So that’s what I picked up in my first Glossier haul! I’ll definitely report back with some reviews once I’ve tried everything out, I can’t wait to see if everything lives up to the hype. What are your favourite Glossier products or which products are you lusting after the most?
P.s. how cute is Glossier packaging?!
